Hi everyone! This project has been in the works for a month now, and I’m so excited to finally share this project with you! This blog post and video was done in collaboration with Simple Victoria, and several other Youtube channels, to bring you guys tons of different ideas on how to take an object and turn it into something new. This project is our first collaboration project, ever, and we hope that you guys enjoy and find some ideas…
Happy Thanksgiving to all our American readers! I had another post planned for today, but we decided last minute to share with all of you 16 things that we’re thankful for in 2016. This list isn’t in any particular order as we just threw it together as we thought of it!
It’s a little hard to believe that the end of 2016 and the holidays are well on their way. As a minimalist blogger, the holidays are a little touchy of a subject with one of the most common issues raised is how to handle giving and receiving gifts from friends and family. Today we’ll talk about one aspect of that process that we’ve been using for a couple years now: the wish list.
I’ve been in a fairly reflective mood lately, I mean more so than usual. Typically Trevor and I reflect on our lives once a week to make sure we’re headed in the right path, but I’ve been doing more and more personal reflection to make sure I’m where I want to be. That aside, I’ve spent most of my time reflecting on this blog and wanted to share some of the lessons I’ve learned, now that I’ve personally been blogging for…

I’ve tried to write this post several times, but something stops me after about two hours of work. I write 1,000 words, then delete it all. This topic is a topic I need to discuss in a very elegant and careful way, as my views on the matter are probably very different than what a lot of people believe. That’s part of the beauty of this planet, right? Millions of people with millions of beliefs, put together to have conversations…
Breaking news, death destruction and mayhem, more at 11. Be sure to join the conversation with everyone else who is upset by these events in the news social media and comments. Or don’t. Sometimes it’s best to strive to lessen our exposure to these things to live a happier life.
The people around me seem to have a very clear-cut idea as to what they want to do for their livelihood and how to achieve it. I’m turning 27 this year, and I’ve never had an understanding of what career path I wanted to follow. I know what I like to do and what my interests are, but do they really translate into a way of earning a living?
So this past Friday I read an entire book in a single day. Actually it was the same book that Allyson had read that same day, that we purchased in the afternoon. Yep, we both read the same book within 6 hours.
Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit! There I said it! Gook luck for me for the rest of the month! What? You don’t know what I am talking about? Well keep reading!
