One of our YouTube subscribers had shared that they are more enthusiastic about living simple than their family is, which can be tough sometimes. We’re sure it can be! The clutter, the mess and the excess are all things you have to contend with when you’re more keen on living simple than your family and sometimes it can feel like you’re the lone ranger, tackling the stuff solo. For your family, you getting rid of your things might seem a little nuts! This week we’re sharing our suggestions on how to make home life a little more peaceful, for all parties involved, because life isn’t about stuff! Hey everyone! Today’s topic is something I didn’t know was a thing until a couple weeks ago. I was checking out content similar to ours on YouTube and found several videos promoting polarizing opinions by comparing Minimalism and Materialism and suggesting that one is superior than the other in the video titles. This absolutely frustrates me as, for starters, polarizing media disgusts me. That’s part of the beauty of this planet, right? Millions of people with millions of beliefs, put together to have conversations and help guide each other through the world…at least, that’s how I see it. Continue reading “On Having a Life Plan”
The people around me seem to have a very clear-cut idea as to what they want to do for their livelihood and how to achieve it. I’m turning 27 this year, and I’ve never had an understanding of what career path I wanted to follow. I know what I like to do and what my interests are, but do they really translate into a way of earning a living?
