Why We Stopped Playing Pokemon GO

A few weeks ago Allyson wrote an article about how we were obsessed with the new Pokemon GO mobile game. A few weeks later, Niantic has done enough to make us loose all interest. Maybe someday when it’s not as buggy and features stop dramatically changing we’d reconsider. However, I already hardly even think about the game anymore. Gaming: Clearing the Back Catalog

This was an excellent week for me and gaming. I finished not one, but two Zelda games that I had purchased long ago and never started, or got around to finishing. Thoughts: The problem with Wii Fit

Ages ago when Wii fit first launched on the Wii I went out and spent $90 to purchase it. Being a gamer and computer user I knew (and still know) I need to put more effort into staying healthy, and playing games and having it teach/coach you through routines sounded great. I used it for a while, let it sit, picked it up a while later, let it sit and this pattern continued for years. Recently I started back up, but this time with Wii Fit Plus and playing on the Wii U. After a few days of training I found out the reason why I couldn’t stick with it for long which had baffled me for quite some time. Continue reading “Thoughts: The problem with Wii Fit”

Product Review: World of Nintendo – Link Figure (Ocarina of Time 3D)

Another Legend of Zelda: Link action figure?! Awesome! I spotted this online a while back but recently happened across it at my local Target store. It being the only one left, it seems it may be rarer(or bought more frequently) than the other World of Nintendo figurines. There were many Luigi’s and Peaches, but only a single Link. How could I pass this up when I already reviewed the Skyward Sword variant? This time it’s price was $4 cheaper too coming in at around $9 instead of $13 (USD). Continue reading “Product Review: World of Nintendo – Link Figure (Ocarina of Time 3D)”

Let’s check out this Legend of Zelda capsule toy! Continue reading “Zelda Figure Collection: Ocarina of Time Kid Link (capsule toy)”
